Avoid Misalignment Between Tasks and Agents with Task Reservation Reassignment
Sometimes tasks get assigned to agents who aren’t a good fit. It could be due to tasks being routed inappropriately, incomplete contact information, or there’s just a mismatch between the agent’s skillset and the task. Now, agents can reassign tasks to other agents directly from the Agent Desktop, ensuring the task doesn’t get lost into the ether and it gets picked up by a better qualified agent.

AI Phone Agents Can Automatically Disposition Calls
Regal AI Phone Agents now have the ability to disposition calls based on a list of pre-defined dispositions. AI Agents will automatically choose the best-fit disposition based on the content of each call. . This is just another way our AI Agents continue to automate many of your critical tasks while keeping your contact center humming.
Reach out to your Customer Success rep to get early access to Regal AI Phone Agents. If you already have an AI Phone Agent live, you can toggle the “Enable disposition for Regal AI Agents” setting when creating your dispositions to make them available to your AI Agents.
Better Reflect Your Business Processes in Regal with Custom Objects
Custom Objects now allow you to extend the base Regal data model beyond “Contacts” and “Events” to build a fuller picture of your customers and business operations in Regal. You can think of Custom Objects as a way to capture your business’ unique types of records, for example: quotes, applications, courses, ongoing jobs or cases, sales opportunities, and much more. Custom Objects can represent anything that relates to your contacts.
Custom Objects make life easier for both managers and agents in a few ways:
- Organize your data in a more useful way, rather than stuffing all data into contact attributes (especially when there are multiple objects that relate to a single contact or multiple contacts that relate to a single object)
- Provide better context for your agents during customer interactions, and keep agents in a single tool
- Further refine how your journeys or routing rules work based on updates to different objects to achieve your desired customer treatment

Minimize Tab-Switching by Replying to Any Email in Agent Desktop
We’ve expanded our email functionality to allow agents to respond to any thread in the contact’s conversation history. This allows agents to follow up on both past and ongoing conversations directly from the Agent Desktop, which means agents will have less need to leave Regal when responding to customers via email.

Auto-Accept Any Task Type
Make sure high-intent tasks like inbound SMS, transfers, or scheduled callbacks are auto-accepted to maximize agent efficiency and connect with eager contacts as quickly as possible.
Outlook Integration
Integrate Outlook emails directly into Regal. Agents will be able to send and receive Outlook emails from the Agent Desktop, while managers will have visibility into their teams’ email activity in Regal.
Predictive Dialer
Regal’s predictive dialer automatically adjusts a campaign’s calls-to-agent ratio based on abandon rate, so you can maximize reach and maintain compliance without manual oversight or constant adjustments.
