September 2023 Releases
Regal now supports connecting Outlook email accounts to Regal, so your agents can compose, send, and receive Outlook emails right from the Regal Agent Desktop. Our support for Outlook also makes it easier for managers to consolidate monitoring and reporting of email activities and SLAs into Regal alongside calls and texts.
For orgs who use Outlook, reach out to your Customer Success rep to get early access to the Outlook integration. Learn more about Regal’s email capabilities here.
Task Auto-Accept is now available for more task types such as SMS tasks. The Task Auto-Accept setting can be configured by task type and team. When Task Auto-Accept is on, task reservations are automatically accepted on agents’ behalf. This minimizes task resolution times, helping you achieve your SLAs.
Sometimes tasks get assigned to agents who aren’t a good fit. It could be due to tasks being routed inappropriately, incomplete contact information, or there’s just a mismatch between the agent’s skillset and the task. Now, agents can reassign tasks to other agents directly from the Agent Desktop, ensuring the task doesn’t get lost into the ether and it gets picked up by a better qualified agent.
This feature will be activated by default for all Regal customers on February 17th. If you would prefer not to activate it for your account, reach out to your Customer Success rep.
Admins can now delete contacts directly from the Regal app, which makes it easier for admins to keep their Regal database tidier by cleaning out test contacts or other contacts that were unintentionally created. To delete a contact, just navigate to the contact profile and press “Delete Contact” at the bottom. When a contact is deleted, so is their full event and conversation history.
This feature is available to all admins in your Regal account. If you’d like to limit access further to certain named accounts, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
Individual Contacts now have dedicated URLs, which makes it easier for Regal admins to share Contact information by providing a direct link. With the URL, admins can share contact profiles with each other with a simple copy/paste of the URL. External CRMs can also be set up to link directly to a Regal contact profile.
Regal admins now have the option to stop an individual contact from continuing on in a Journey. To remove a contact from a journey, navigate to the list of all in-progress contacts for a journey or those in a specific delay node, then click “Stop” on the contact you want to remove. This is useful in the event a contact enters the wrong Journey or if the next Journey step is not the best way forward. When “Stopped”, a contact will immediately exit a journey.
Regal’s predictive dialer automatically adjusts a campaign’s calls-to-agent ratio based on a target abandon rate, so you can maximize reach and maintain compliance without manual oversight or constant adjustments.
Regal is becoming more programmatic, starting with 3 new APIs for listing data from your Regal account: campaigns, dispositions, and active phone numbers.
